Don’t get me wrong I am as gutted as the next patriot but in some ways I am pleased, maybe this is the kick in the ass they needed and let’s face it; “Sven Mini-Me Mclaren” is going to get the Axe, happy days! To be fair, it’s not entirely his fault, I just think he didn’t have what it took to motivate a team of primadonas. If his team talks are anything like his interview technique then that explains it.

I know I’ve been slack lately updating, no I’m not dead… I have just been very busy with a few private web projects that are fortunately coming to an end now. In a few days I will be active again, with details of my financial project and other stuff

I woke up on the 2nd of January all ready for the first day back to work, after a few minutes I was feeling a bit wierd, yep water mouth syndrome, my worst fears confirmed, stomach bug which later panned out as ‘Gastro Interitis’, a week off work before I had begun.

It gets better…

I was playing football at the weekend (Saturday) and some guy stamped on my hand, thinking it was just a bit swollen I preceded to bandage it up and play again on Sunday morning. By about lunch time it was throbbing quite a bit so asked my girlfriend to take me to the hospital.

The verdict: I have 2 fractures just above the knuckle on my right hand little finger.

It hurts pretty bad. All plaster casted up and typing with my left hand… great! I can’t remember breaking any mirrors…

As the year draws to a close I sit here asking myself “if only I would have…” and “I wish I had…”. It’s too late now, but I can start to think about the new year and some of the things I would like to achieve in 2007.

So, here is my list of personal and business goals in no particular order:

Update: some of the goals I had were hard to measure so I have now made them SMART objectives.

1. Quit smoking
2. Create at least 10 sites
3. Spend more time with my girlfriend
4. Save £5k
5. Make £100 a day (sustainable) via affiliate marketing
6. Work for myself
7. Move out of our flat and into a house

There is a lot I would have done differently this year, if only I could turn back the clock. Here’s to 2007!
