Do you suffer from Ideaitus?

June 29th, 2007 by Zinc

It was another normal day, I had just got home from work and decided to have a quick read of the e-mail and check my affiliate stats over a nice cool beer… Much to my enjoyment, this 5 minute exercise seemed to turn into a 1 hour session of idea generation, at the end of which I had achieved bugger all except for finding an interesting mail from bob@hotmail.com about penis enlargement, acknowledgement of 0 sales for the day and an empty beer bottle.

It finally dawned on me that I have a serious problem…

I have Ideaitus

Yep. I will be on a site for example hotmail minding my own business but then a banner will catch my eye and then before I can even ask myself WTF I am doing I’m off researching a niche, doing keyword research, finding a way to promote a product or registering domain names. All the while I have unfinished sites and sites that I haven’t even started.

Does this happen to anyone else?

If there is any know cure please let me know?

Any donations to help my cause would be appreciated :P

Hi, my name is John and I’m an Ideaholic.

I’ve suffered from this disease for many years now, as anyone who’s ever worked with me will testify - I can be talking to someone about one thing and come up with an idea for something else mid-sentence.

Just the other day, I was thinking of something to put in some redundant ad space, and went off on a tangent that will now result in the biggest project we’ve ever undertaken, tying up three developers full time for the next three months.

God knows how many ideas I’ll have during those three months lol

    I’m an ideaholic as well!

I’ve got so many projects on the go that some are just being left half on the shelf.

I think I’ve got something like 60 blogs and with that many you can’t keep the content up-to-date, let alone the SEO!

    Nightmare.

I’ve been through a leaning down process recently - chucking out the junk and streamlining the sites I work on.

My problem is I need an ideas broker. I come up with the ideas and sell them on, or take a cut … Any ideas?? ;-)

Yep. Happens to me all the time. But instead of not finishing my projects, I use PPC-Max to do months worth of work in seconds. that way I create all the stuff I want and make money on it and have plenty of time to follow my mouse around the net…lol

PPC-Max has a free trial at http://instant.ppc-max.com you should check out. Your wallet will thank you.
